Spaghetti was amazing. Sauce had chunks of Roma tomatoes and basil and very flavorful Noodles perfect al-dente and garlic rolls warm and well seasoned
Got the spaghetti and have had Venero's pizza in the past. Sauce had great flavor with chunks of tomato, was nicely spiced and not overly salty like other Italian places in the area, meat sauce was good, and noodles al dente Was also $2-4 cheaper than the others.
Outstanding pizza! Had the works and it was excellent! Timely cordial service... nice venue... food is good! I highly recommend.
Oh my goodness.....after looking for a GOOD Italian restaurant for a very long time my husband and I decided to try Venero's Pizzeria. The food is absolutely delicious!!! Old school home made from scratch taste. I am really so happy to have found a place where the food is exceptional (Lasagna, Stuffed Mushrooms, Caesar Salad, House Wine and Chocolate Cannoli) The service was also great (Thank You Sophia) and the prices are very reasonable. This restaurant has just become our "GO TO" place!!!! It really is THE BEST!!!
Excellent pizza, salads, and service today. Casual atmosphere. The server was a bit stretched as she seemed to be alone while we witnessed others standing around. We didn't feel the pain. There was some hesitation as to who was to wait on us.
The restaurant has the old school vibe and I really liked it. The waitress was extremely attentive and got the food quickly. I had the lasagna and a Caesar salad. The salad was overall very good but the lasagna was amazing. It had a great balance of flavor and not too much cheese. My first time visiting and it will not be my last for sure.
Unpretentious place on 70, with solid food. We went during a slow time and sat outside on an unusually warm day. 70 does get busy and loud, but it was our choice. I had a 10" meatball pizza. The crust was thin and nicely crisp, sauce was very good and they gave a very nice portion of shaved meatballs which allowed you to get some on every bite. Attentive but casual service. In hindsight I should have ordered a pizza to go so I had some to reheat at home!
The BEST pizza in the Clayton area. Venero's not only offers the best pizza in Clayton NC, they have a menu filled with all the true Italian entrees not found anywhere else. You not only get it your way, every entree is prepared with the highest quality ingredients. I don't have an over complicated palate, but I know mediocre when I see and taste it and refuse to entertain mediocre. I return to Venero's weekly because it's top shelf, personalized dining. On top of all that you are treated like family and family always comes first! You deserve the best Clayton has to offer for Italian dining, let Venero's give you what you deserve Cheers!
